geometry_gmsh module
- geometry_gmsh.blade_CAD_geometry(shapes, outfilename, msh=False)
Write blade into CAD file .stp using gmsh, if msh=True create unstructured surface mesh
- Parameters:
shapes – coordinates of airfoil shapes defining blade
outfilename – name of output file
msh – (bool) create unstrunctured surface mesh and save .msh file as well, defaults to False
- geometry_gmsh.write_geofile(shapes, outfilename, n_spanwise=300, n_te=3, n_cross_half=100)
Create structured surface mesh using GMSH and .geo file
- Parameters:
shapes – coordinates of airfoil shapes defining blade
outfilename – name of output file
n_spanwise – number of cells in spanwise direction, defaults to 300
n_te – number of cross points in trail edge, defaults to 3
n_cross_half – number of upper and lower cross section points, defaults to 100
